1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user's device while browsing its pages. They allow the visitor to be recognized on subsequent visits, keep the session signed in, remember preferences and gather statistical information about site usage.
Together with cookies we use other technologies that are functionally equivalent, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which are treated the same as cookies for the purposes of consent.
2. Types of cookies we use
On NivelixPro we use exclusively cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service and, on a deferred basis and with an opt-out option, analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-domain tracking cookies.
- Strictly necessary cookies (always active): they allow user authentication, session persistence and the application of language preferences. Their processing is grounded on the performance of the service and does not require prior consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
- Analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity): they gather aggregated information on site usage to detect usability issues and improve the product. They are loaded only after 3 seconds from the start of the session, the first scroll or the first click, which minimises their impact on performance. Microsoft Clarity is configured in balanced masking mode: sensitive fields and images are hidden automatically.
3. Detailed identification
The cookies and storage mechanisms that may be installed during browsing are the following:
- nivelix_session — Technical, httpOnly session cookie. Purpose: keep the authenticated session. Duration: session.
- nivelix_language — Technical cookie. Purpose: remember the chosen language. Duration: 12 months.
- _clck, _clsk, MUID, ANONCHK — Third-party cookies installed by Microsoft Clarity. Purpose: aggregated analytics and masked session recordings. Duration: up to 12 months.
4. Managing and withdrawing consent
You may configure your browser to reject analytics cookies or to delete them. The major browsers offer detailed instructions on their respective help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera and Brave).
If you decide to block strictly necessary cookies, please bear in mind that some Platform functionality may stop working correctly (you will not be able to keep your session signed in).
5. International transfers
Microsoft Clarity is a service operated by Microsoft Corporation, with its headquarters in the United States. The company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and applies the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to amend this Cookies Policy to adapt it to new legal requirements or service changes. We will always publish the current version at this URL.
